Here's how you can help with this project!
On your primary instrument, record a video for one of our Easy Holiday Duets (see steps below) and then send along to me via dropbox (link below).
Follow these Steps:

1) Set up your phone or camera so it is level and facing you. If using your phone, make sure it is sideways - (filming in landscape mode). A phone stand or tripod would help, but not necessary. Try to set up the phone or camera so it is filming you straight-on and not at an upward angle. Be sure the room (and you) are well-lit.

2) Stand or sit in front of the camera and make sure that when you play, your hands/fingers/slide, etc, will be visible to the viewer. We don't need to see your whole body or even your face in the frame, just be sure that your instrument is visible so students can see your fingerings/slide positions as you play.

3) With a second device (laptop or phone) and headphones, use the play-along tracks below to play along with as you record your video. This will help with consistency of tempo and intonation throughout the videos. Headphones are important so the sound of the background track isn't heard on your video. If this isn't possible - use a metronome to make sure that you are playing the songs at the tempo that matches the play-alongs. Tempos are listed for each.

4) For each song you choose, record the full song using the "full song" play-along, and then record the phrases using the "phrases" play-along. Don't worry about cutting out mistakes, I can easily edit those out.

5) Upload your finished videos to this dropbox folder: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/je4zb99ttj6tc0l/AAC6QMrmWAgI4BmGyysqi8Cga?dl=0
